Operation End-Ex

Operation End-ExOperation End-ExOperation End-Ex

Transitioning from military service to civilian life does not begin on your final day in uniform. It starts months, and often years, before your EAS or retirement date. The earlier you begin planning, the more time you have to make informed decisions, complete required milestones, gather important documents, and prepare for your next chapter.

The Operation End-Ex Checklist is designed to help service members stay organized throughout the transition process. From medical appointments and VA disability consultation to education benefits, career planning, financial readiness, housing decisions, and family support, each step matters. This checklist provides a clear timeline so you can track what needs to be done, when it needs to be done, and how to avoid missing critical requirements before leaving service.
